I've always had an interest in art, from a young age all I wanted to do was to study fine arts at Adelaide Uni. Instead I joined the armed forces and became an illustrator for the services.

From there I raised a family, with no time to develop my own interests with 5 children! I then studied teaching and went on to teach a variety of subjects including art, lucky me.

Yet again anyone who teaches knows how little time you have to pursue your own interests. It wasn't until retirement that I could focus some time towards my passion.
